A Thinner Pen was originally dubbed the Starving Journalist, and functioned as an undergraduate blog for a creative writing major, online journalism minor as she worked her way through her senior year. The blog then spent a brief stint as Starving Abroad as its author spent her last semester overseas in London, England.
Today, the blog carries the name A Thinner Pen, as a reminder of the harsh economic times that makes the pen’s strokes thinner, but the words it writes nevertheless necessary, and important.
Today, it contains bits of the author’s travels, as well as literary thoughts and exercises.
